This was an ambitious project to follow the periodical writing showing up in the Indian Language periodicals. The main issue of the Index Indiana showed up as quarterly in 1977 and since 1981 it is being distributed as yearly cumulated volumes. As an origin six dialects viz. Bengali, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil and Malayalam periodicals are secured. Organizing articles correlating to Indian Literature, Social Science, Indian Systems of Medicine, Folk writing, Social Science, Philosophy and so forth could be of extraordinary help to explore researchers. For science and innovation and so on such productions are as of now accessible. Because of the absence of dialect capable experts, certain dialects goes unrepresented once in a while. Endeavors are being to incorporate every Indian dialect. Using Jasper Reports they structured the Central Reference Library Index Indiana venture reports.

Anblik made their website on their venture which is partitioned into three sections – classified part, subject index, and author index. Following the Dewey Decimal Classification framework, they assembled the section in order.
